General Return Policy
Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 30 days from the order date or 21 days from the delivery date for a full refund of the original product price, less any applicable restocking or return shipping fees.
Condition: Products must be returned in new condition, in their original packaging, and include all paperwork, parts, and accessories to qualify for a refund.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for products delivered via ground shipping (USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL). For items shipped by freight, please call 1-888-317-9789 to obtain an estimate on return shipping costs.
Damaged or Defective Products
Inspection on Delivery: Please inspect your product upon delivery. If the item is damaged or defective, you must notify us within 5 days of delivery.
Documentation Required: Provide pictures of the damaged or defective items. Instructions on where to send the pictures will be provided upon contact.
Resolution: Damaged or defective items reported within the 5-day window will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost.
Restocking Fees
Certain products are subject to restocking fees. These fees are as follows:
Power Wheelchairs: 20%
Scooters: 20%
Lift Chairs: 20%
Hospital Beds: 25%
Vehicle Lifts: 20%
Manual Wheelchairs: 20%
Patient Lifts: 20%
Portable Oxygen Machines: 30%
CPAP/BiPAP Machines: 25%
Non-Returnable Items
Some items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:
Custom-built lift chairs or those with a 2-week lead time.
Customizable power wheelchairs (e.g., Pride Jazzy 1450 Heavy Duty Wheelchair).
Customized manual wheelchairs (e.g., Quickie Wheelchair).
Return Process
Contact Us: Reach out to GMS Medical via phone (1-888-317-9789) or online within 30 days of purchase. Provide your sales receipt number and explain the reason for the return.
Obtain an RA#: Our customer service representative will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#) along with the return address and details about applicable restocking fees.
Package Securely: Pack the item securely in the original packaging. Include the packing slip or a copy of your sales receipt. Clearly write the RA# on the outside of the box.
Track Your Return: Retain the tracking number from your return shipment to ensure the package reaches our warehouse.
Refund Process: Refunds will be issued in the original payment method within 3-5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product. Delays may occur for incomplete returns.
Non-Refundable Services
There are no refunds for the following services:
Repairs of power wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, hospital beds, vehicle lifts, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and oxygen concentrators.
Service contracts, which include a 90-day or 1-year warranty for replacement or rebuilt parts.
